Zinit Part 1

Required level : level 45              Recommended number of characters: 1


To access the Zinit, you need to complete the Nations Questline in order to get the Draconic Ocarina. Find all the guides to complete these quests here.


1 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Return to Zinit

Now you have the Ocarina that allows you to guide your Wyrmling through the clouds of the crevasse. Now you just have to launch yourself heart and soul into the assault on Zinit. Go find Ullu in front of the crevasse. He’ll certainly bore you with some information that may or may not be useful.

  • Go back to Zinit Beach
  • Speak to Ullu in front of the crevasse

Reward(s) : 190 000 xp

If you completed the 5th chapter of the Nations Quest after the update 1.52 then directly take the Zaap to the Mount Zinit. Otherwise go back to Astrub’s port and talk to Buddy Hully to get back to the Zinit (picture changes on hover).

When you’re on the Zinit, head to the right and use the blue portals to get to Ullu.


2 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Wild Beach

It’s now or never! We have to advise against going, because it’s a horrible place and you probably won’t come back in one piece – or at all! Remember just one thing: “Otomai’s advice is the wisest, and your resolution is the most dangerous”.

  • Cross the crevasse and reach the Wild Beach
  • Meet Otomai
  • Save the Wild Beach Silo

Click on the other side of the cliff to cross the pit, an animation will trigger. Then head to north to save the Silo.


3 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Young Girl on the Beach

You don’t care much about all Otomai’s insightful advice, but at least you listened to him about saving the famous “Silo” that will function as a micro-Zaap on Zinit. Now all you have to do is explore the Wild Beach and cross your fingers that everything goes well until you confront the terrible Ogrest.

  • Speak to the young Osamodas, Clan Member
  • Defeat a Snailmet
  • Defeat a Darth Mussel
  • Recover the Mollusky Egg from the Kralaboss in the Mollusky Dungeon
  • Take the Mollusky Egg to Mishell

Go speak to Mishell, she’s indicated by a Star on your map.

Defeat a Snailmet/Dart Mussel

To go faster, I would advise you to directly go to the dungeon. The first two steps will validate with the first room and the next step is about killing the Boss! Be careful: The Darth Mussels apply the state “Destroyster”. The target dies in 3 turns and the damage from allies are doubled on the target. In order to get rid of this state, kill your ally (bearing the state) so he will be revived instantly.

Recover the Mollusky Egg from the Kralaboss in the Mollusky Dungeon

The Boss is not really complicated, he has 4 413 HPs (maximum) you should be able to beat it easily! When you attack the Boss, he gains the state “High Voltage”: at the start of its turn, he deals damage to all the characters in melee. Just be careful with the Darth Mussels and their state “Destroyster”, kill them first and everything should go smoothly. Then go back to see Mishell.


4 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – Excarnal Scepter

Go to the Wild Estate and finish the Arkaeologist and the Temple of Doom quest to recover the Excarnal Scepter artifact.

  • Speak to Mishell after having recovered the Excarnal Scepter

Reward(s) : 10 000 xp

To get the Excarnal Scepter, you should be level 50 and go to the Wild Estate to complete the main Quest. You will find a complete guide here. Then talk to Mishell.


5 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Wild Camp

For such an interesting meeting, it was rather peaceful. The little girl Mishell is really strange. How could she have made it through the passage with her group so easily? And isn’t Zinit a bit too dangerous for a little Osamodas girl…? Stop asking yourself questions for a moment and help Mishell find what she’s looking for; it can only help your exploration of Zinit and it’ll build muscle too!

  • Enter the Wild Camp using the Excarnal Scepter
  • Examine the Straw Berth
  • Examine the Pile of Eggs
  • Examine the Silo Crate
  • Explore the Wild Cave
  • Speak to Mishell

Eneter the cave, you will have to start a fight again a Gobgob! He doesn’t deal high damage, however he has 600 HPs and summons Selachiis.  You should beat it without troubles.


6 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Mishell’s Missive

Apparently, the group that came to Mount Zinit is part of a mysterious organization, but Mishell doesn’t want to say anything else. She seems stronger and smarter than she looks; it would be best not to insist on knowing the group’s intentions. Continue your missions, and Mishell will surely give you more useful information!

  • Defeat a Hammer Selachii
  • Defeat a Spear Selachii
  • Recover the Selachii Egg from the Royal Selachii in the Dry Selachii
  • Take the Selachii Egg to Mishell

Defeat a Hammer Selachii/Spear Selachii

To go faster, I would advise you to directly go to the dungeon. The first two steps will validate with the first room and the next step is about killing the Boss! Some information about the monsters: they apply the state “Blood-Drenched”: selects a target for all the Selachiis and applies -20 elemental resistances. They can also use “Bloody Regeneration”: Heals the Selachii when he attacks his target. The Hammer Selachiis can remove APs.

Recover the Selachii Egg from the Royal Selachii in the Dry Selachii

The Royal Selachii has 3 987 HPs (maximum) and a state “Thirst for Vengeance”: Targets the players who have the highest HPs. This family is not really hard to handle, you shouldn’t have troubles! Go back to see Mishell.


7 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – Paws of Ecaflip

Go to Kelba and finish the Raiders of the Ecaflip Artifact – Face to Face quest to recover the Paws of Ecaflip artifact.

  • Speak to Mishell after having recovered the Paws of Ecaflip

To get the Paws of Ecaflip, you should be level 65 and go to Kelba to complete the main Quest. You will find a complete guide here. Then talk to Mishell.


8 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Abandoned Mishell

Mishell’s group was looking for Silos? But why? Your friend’s information is certainly useful, but it causes even more confusion than at the beginning… Maybe Mishell’s friend Kali will be less mysterious. Whatever the case, you must find this famous Abandoned Shell and bring it to your little friend.

  • Find the Abandoned Shell
  • Take the Shell to Mishell

The shell is hidden in a cave, its location is indicated on the image below (picture changes on hover). Enter the cave and click on the shell, it triggers a fight against 3 Molluskies. You know them well now, have fun! Then go back to Mishell.


9 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Little Holes

Another egg! She must have a lot of room at her place to have so many monsters as pets! Anyway, the most important thing is to go find out where the entrance to the Schnek Cave is! I’d advise you to avoid getting too close to the Schnek Guards, the wretched invertebrates!

  • Find the Schnek Cave
  • Examine the “holes” near the Schnek Cave
  • Speak to Mishell

Follow the wall on the right and examine the holes. Go back to Mishell.


10 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – Rikiki Wand

Go to Monk Island and find the Rikiki Chest in The Undieworld Dungeon in order to recover the Rikiki Wand artifact.

  • Speak to Mishell after having recovered the Rikiki Wand

Reward(s) : 10 000 xp

To get the Rikiki Wand, head to Monks Island. There, you will need a group of minimum 4 players to enter the “Undieworld Dungeon” and open the secret chest! Run the dungeon normally until the Boss room. A piece of advice: Avoid using spells that cost Wakfu points or the state of the dungeon will inflict heavy damage to your character.

Defeat the Boss and at the end of the fight, click on the piano to enter a secret room!

Here, you will have to write A.M.E.N on the floor. Place a character on each of the slabs. The character standing on the M will be able to activate the lever, then you’ll be able to take the content of the chest: the Rikiki Wand! Note that you will only be able to open the chest if you have the quest activated at the right step. Then go back to Mishell.


11 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Schnek Cave

The Rikiki Wand is finally yours and at last you can, like a wriggly worm, slip through the holes in the Schnek Cave. It’s not very reassuring to just blindly climb into a hole! What dangers could be waiting for you on the other side? But a mission is a mission, and there’s not really another way to get a worm egg! And Mishell is coming with you! What could be better?

  • Explore the “holes” near the Schnek Cave
  • Defeat a Gunky Schnek
  • Defeat a Magischnek
  • Recover the Schnek Egg from Queen Schnek in the Schnekymosis Cavern
  • Take the Schnek Egg to Mishell
  • Examine the Luminescent Water in the Schnek Cave

Go back to the holes we’ve seen previously. Their position is indicated on the picture below (picture changes on hover).

Defeat Gunky Schnek/Magischnek

To go faster, I would advise you to directly go to the dungeon. The first two steps will validate with the first room and the next step is about killing the Boss! Information about the monsters:

  • The Magischneks applies a poison with “Mucus Infecticus”. The poison deals -6% of the actual HPs of the target, -20 elemental resistances. With “Porticum Reducto” he removes range (the malus can be applied to a same character several times).

  • The Sliths deal heavy damage and when they reach approximately 20% of their maximum HPs, their body divide into two pieces. Their head stays on the ground and only attack in melee while the legs can walk. You need to kill them again (they don’t have many HPs). They can also hide into the ground and gain a bonus of +2 MPs.

  • The Gunky Schneks place 3 glyphs of Mucus with the spell “Schpittle” (-2 MPs on the players, +2 MPs on the Schneks) and steals HPs.

Recover the Schnek Egg from Queen Schnek in the Schnekymosis Cavern

The Queen Schnek has 10 125 HPs (maximum), she uses the spell “Royal Schneeze” to inflict water damage and remove -20% critical hit. You can not deal damage to the Queen Schnek as she is invulnerable at the moment. How to get rid of this state? The Queen places a glyph of 5 cells in a cross (+), the glyph “Milk-Schnek”. End your turn on it and one the next turn, you will transform into a Schnek. Come close to the Queen and cast the spell “Kiss” on her. She will then be vulnerable for the rest of the fight.

Now head to the north of the map to observe the Luminescent water and talk to Mishell. Its position is indicated on the picture below (picture changes on hover).


12 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – Luminescent Amulet

Go to Bilbiza and find the Impermeable Chest at the Jellix Show to recover the Luminescent Amulet artifact.

13 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Lower Slope – Part 1

Those darned diggers gave you a pretty hard time, and the Schnek Queen was, how to say… strangely… strange! But the mission was successfully accomplished, and you discovered an oasis where it would be nice to have a dip.

  • Cross the Luminescent Water in the Schnek Cave
  • Reach the Lower Slope of Mount Zinit
  • Speak to Otomai

14 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Lower Slope – Part 2

Unfortunately, not having a blood link to the gods, you’ve been hit by Mount Zinit Miasma, and if you don’t follow Otomai’s advice to the letter, you won’t make it much further. The great renowned alchemist sent you to look for special ingredients that only he knows, so that he can make you an antidote capable of fighting the effects of the miasma.

  • Head to the Snowbound Snowbound Village on Chillberg Island
  • Find and examine the first Dathura’s Thought
  • Find and examine the second Dathura’s Thought
  • Find and examine the third Dathura’s Thought
  • Find and defeat the Nostalgic Gravedigger in Harebourg Castle
  • Take Ogrest’s Tears to Otomai on the Lower Slope
  • Drink the first antidote against Zinit Miasma

The position of the Gravedigger’s tower is indicated on the picture below (picture changes on hover). The Gravedigger has 2 222 HPs and doesn’t deal much damage. You won’t have troubles defeating it.


15 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Rockies of the Lower Slope

You’ve just drunk your first antidote, but you’re going to need a second to be totally immune to Zinit Miasma. Otomai assures you that the ingredients can be found on the monsters of the Lower Slope. The problem is that you still have to cross the area.

  • Examine the Rockies

16 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – Jumpin’ Gap Jacks

Go in the temple of Ohwymi and open the “Mystical Chest” to recover the Jumpin’ Gap Jacks artifact.

17 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Otomai’s Missive

Cross the rocky area and recover the ingredients for the second antidote, which will make you immune to the miasma. Once you’ve drunk Otomai’s concoction, climbing Mount Zinit will be a lot more pleasant.

  • Cross the Rockies of the Lower Slope
  • Defeat a Whirlikid
  • Defeat a Whirlibig
  • Recover Ogrest’s Tears from the Silmawhirly in the Whirlway Station
  • Take Ogrest’s Tears to Otomai
  • Drink the rest of the antidote against Zinit Miasma

Defeat a Whirlikid/Whirlibig

To go faster, I would advise you to directly go to the dungeon. The first two steps will validate with the first room and the next step is about killing the Boss! Information about the monsters:

  • The Whirly Cuatic places water glyphs on the field. If he walks on them, he swells and gains bonuses. He can also heal himself and give himself range and armor with the spell “Plastwhirly”.

  • The Whirlikid can remove up to 2 MPs with “Whirlijig” (once per target and per turn) and remove elemental resistances with “Whirlibrave”.

  • The Whirlibig applies armor to himself, deals damage in area with “Whirmeer” and push of 3 cells if they end their turns next to a character. When an ally dies, he gains the state “Whirlidance”: +3 Range and +20% Critical Hit.

Be careful, all the monsters can push and there are many fans in the rooms. There are two types of fans, the ones built out of the ground that can push of 3 cells if you come next to them and the fans built into the ground on 9 cells (3×3 square). If you walk on the latter, you will be teleported randomly on the map. I would advise you not to use the tactic mode in this dungeon as the 9 cells fans don’t display correctly with this mode. Avoid to walk near the fans oruse them to your advantage! be careful with the collision damage.

Recover Ogrest’s Tears from the Silmawhirly in the Whirlway Station

The Simawhirly has 17 644 HPs (maximum) and is invulnerable to your attacks. In order to get rid of the invulnerability, you need to damage him in melee. He will then be vulnerable only during your turn. Each time you remove the invulnerability of the Silmawhirly, he gains bonuses and inflicts more damage. In order to avoid increasing his characteristics too much, only remove his invulnerability with your DDs. Note there will still be an invulnerable Whirlikid, he will die when the Boss will reach 1 HP. Finish the fight and go back to see Otomai.


18 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Cliff

A new obstacle has appeared, impeding your climb up Mount Zinit, but you’re not giving up for anything!

  • Examine the Cliff
  • Speak to Ullu

19 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – Woyal Bow of Pwodding

Go to the Wabbit Islands and finish the Woyal Wewawd quest to recover the Woyal Bow of Pwodding artifact.

20 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Cliffdangler

The Woyal Bow of Pwodding is now in your possession – use it well. But stay sharp: danger can come from anywhere, even a dust-mote.

  • Cross the cliff
  • Defeat Kali’s henchmen
  • Speak to Otomai

Reward(s) : 54 440 000 xp

You can now cross the cliff thanks to your new bow. Click on the target to get to the other side.

You then meet Kali for the first time. A fight triggers against two of her henchmen. Be careful, they’re ferocious and they’ll hurt you badly! You will still beat them easily, no worries!


21 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – Another Missive from Otomai

The hardest is still before you: Drhellers and other unhappy run-ins. But don’t forget that you’re here to confront the terrible Ogrest! Go confront as many enemies as possible in order to become one of those strong people.

  • Defeat a Young Drheller
  • Defeat a Trained Drheller
  • Defeat Rascal in the Dirty Trouffe Estate
  • Go back and see Otomai

Defeat a Young Drheller/Trained Drheller

To go faster, I would advise you to directly go to the dungeon. The first two steps will validate with the first room and the next step is about killing the Boss! Information about the monsters:

  • The Young Drheller applies maluses! With “Young Drheller Stampede” he deals air damage and removes -50 elemental resistances! With the spell “Dustcloud” he deals earth damage and removes -2 Range (once per target and per turn).

  • The Trained Drheller are specialists of the art of “charging”. They won’t hesitate to charge your characters if they are at maximum 4 cells of them. When doing so, they deal fire damage, get next to you and apply the state “Drhelled” that doubles the damage of the next charge your character will undergo.

  • The Pet Drheller can attack in an area of 5 cells (in cross) with their spell “Geyser”. They can also use the “Drheller Charge” like the Trained Drheller.

More information: the Drhellers can place glyphs called “Clump”. When they walk on it, they gain the state “Tunneler” which applies +50 elemental resistances and +10 inflicted damage. They can also hide in the ground by digging a hole. When they’re hidden, they reduce damage of 70%, they’re stabilised and can block your line of sight.

Defeat Rascal in the Dirty Trouffe Estate

The Boss has 22 500 HPs (maximum) and is rather easy to defeat. Here, no complicated strategy, he is not invulnerable! Be careful though, at each start of his turns, he casts “Transversal Charge” in front of him on 3 lines. “Transversal Charge” inflicts geavy damage and pushes your characters of 4 cells (with collision damage). Never end your turn in front on him on 3 lines!


22 – Mount Zinit – Chapter 1 – The Smooth Wall

So, what is this very smooth, mysterious wall? It doesn’t look like it’s the rocky parts of the mountain. So go take a closer look!

  • Examine the Smooth Wall of the slope
  • Speak to Ullu

23 – Mount Zinit – Artifact – I.D.S.

Go to the Divine Dimension and finish the Syncroportal Activation quest in order to recover the I.D.S. artifact.
